(Springfield, VA) Interstate Worldwide Relocation is pleased to announce the appointment of S. Scott Hellier as the new Vice President/General Manager of Interstate Relocation Service, Inc., a global provider of third-party employee relocation and move management services. Hellier, an alumnus of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, joins Interstate from Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services in Irvine, California, and brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the organization. In his new capacity, Hellier will oversee day -to-day operations of the division, including strategic implementation of business development initiatives, monitoring the performance of the organization's alliance partner relationships and maintaining oversight of organizational process management.

Our veteran team of relocation professionals will continue to provide innovative relocation and move management services to fulfill the needs of our present customers, as well as the future needs of our government and corporate clients," stated Interstate President Arthur E. (Buddy) Morrissette. Hellier replaces John D. (JD) Morrissette who returns to the Interstate Service Group as the Vice President - Domestic Services.
Hellier worked with Prudential for thirteen years, most recently serving as the Senior Vice President for Alliance Management, with direct responsibility for a newly-consolidated unit that focused on creating/managing service delivery and revenue generating alliances. He also
managed the decentralization and rapid expansion of Prudential's Home Marketing Assistance, Destination Services and Move Management divisions and directed changes to Prudential's service delivery systems, including design of company's service delivery web site, that was recognized by CIO and Computerworld publications.
Interstate's third-party professional management services subsidiary, Interstate Relocation Service, was established five years ago to meet the ever changing needs of Interstate's corporate clients, and facilitated the relocations of more than 10,000 families in 2001. The company offers a comprehensive menu of relocation services to the private and government sectors, including: relocation process management, policy/entitlements counseling, home marketing assistance, home buyout programs, home finding assistance, household goods transportation management, expense tracking and auditing, mortgage and rental assistance and international destination services. Additionally, the Interstate team maintains the resources to uniquely tailor new benefits to match an individual client corporation's needs.
