Springfield , VA - Interstate Worldwide Relocation announced that Colin Searcy has joined the company as vice president - Corporate Business Development. Interstate, a Northern Virginia-based company provides global relocation, logistics and transportation-based services for military, corporate and individual clients. Interstate recently launched expansion plans in the areas of logistics, relocation and international — initiating several personnel acquisitions, including Mr. Searcy's.
Searcy, a 26-year veteran of the transportation and household goods relocation industry's, sets the pace for the expansion and will be responsible for developing corporate and commercial relocation accounts, logistics business and specialty transport and warehousing opportunities.
Searcy will work closely with Bud Morrissette, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Interstate. Bud recently commented, “Searcy brings the combined talent of logistics, relocation, transportation industry and sales management experience to the helm of a growing segment of our business. He will bring depth and process to prospective business acquisitions and a fresh perspective on growth.”
