(Springfield, VA) Interstate Worldwide Relocation announced their March 2005 Employees of the Month. Recipients are recognized for their outstanding performance and consistent customer service.
In a recent comment, executive vice president Bud Morrissette expressed, "We retain many employees because we offer this type of non-compensatory incentive, and the team members this past month are very deserving of such recognition." At Interstate's headquarters, three employees, with over a combined 50 years of service received recognition.
The employees were:
- Driver of the Month - Mike Edwards - Team Member since 1986
- Helper of the Month - Robert Quansah - Team Member since 1998
- Packer of the Month - Maggie Shepard - Team Member since 1976
At Interstate's Landover facility, four employees received recognition. The employees
were:
- Driver of the Month - Russell Anderson - Team Member since 2002
- Helper of the Month - Thomas Blichard - Team Member since 2000
- Packer of the Month - Charleen Bragg - Team Member since 1998
- Long Distance Driver - Corey Bernsdorff - Team Member since 2004
Interstate also recognized the First Quarter Employee for 2005:
- Warehouseman - George Laignel - Team Member since 1964
