Every member of our operations team must successfully complete a 40-hour class in packing or an 80-hour class in moving before they can touch the first piece of a customer's belongings.
Not every one who enrolls in our training passes; it's that demanding. But those who do go on to become the most diligent and caring movers and packers in the industry.
One of Interstate's many industry innovations is our two-bedroom, fully-furnished "Talking Training House." The house even features a piano that our team members must move. Our movers and packers complete a large portion of their training within the walls of this house - learning the best way to wrap and pack valuables, as well as the correct way to lift and move furniture, as well.
